Hi, I'm Angela aka Girlkatski on this site. After 20+ years in the corporate world, I'm taking a leap of faith and writing a novel. After too many years of writing business communications, I'm loving the freedom of writing creatively and letting my imagination go wild. I'm also loving this site. It was the 25th of November. I chose that day as it was her birthday. Somehow it seemed fitting. And being a practical man, it gave me more than enough time to tie up any loose ends. I'm a bit like that. I live in a structured world where I like things to operate in a certain way.

The lad grips my hand tightly. His small fingers entwine with mine and are soft and unencumbered. They remind me of a different time. A time before my own hands were worn, used up and twisted. A time when I was able to caress the cheek of the woman I loved.
