Today I wandered around the house, half-naked, looking for you. Now I see you everywhere. I see you in the walls, in the way the wind blows, in the simple twitter of a songbird.

Everything's been battered and gray since you left. There's no more laughter or sunshine or simplicity to life anymore. Everything has turned tasteless and dark and complicated.

Oh so complicated.

And instead of you I have nothing but white noise to keep me company. I do little things to keep me occupied, things that remind me of you but keep me from thinking, from remembering.

Every night I cry shameless tears, tears filled with the salty bitterness of loss, hoping, praying, that I'll dream of you. Wishing you would return.

Every morning when I wake up, I look over at that picture of you I have on my nightstand. I smile wistfully as I do every time I see that picture, remembering days of sunlight and moments I'd wished would never end.

And, though you're gone and I know you're never coming back, though I dream of you every night and think of you every morning, though you're name is always on my lips, always in the air, though we've both been through a lot, I still love you.

And I know that you still love me.

Just finished watching the movie 'CashBack'. Maybe that's what brought this on. Not quite sure...
Anyway, this is my first Burrst, and I hope you all like it! I'm very excited :) Any comments and/or criticism is greatly appreciated on my part!

    I do like it!
I actually skimmed it at first and your last line "And I know that you still love me" made me feel compelled to read it the entire thing again.

Is this a personal thing, or just inspired by the movie?
