Kay C., 11 Aug '12

Presses of lips, soft and crisp
Like freshly fallen leaves
Your laughter quickly bubbles
In my tired memory
As my thoughts come alive
With flashes of your smile
Unhurried, unburdened.

Wild and impassioned
You devour me
Teasingly, deliberately
And oh-so-gently
Your whispered touches
Across the heat of my skin
Like a frenzied waltz
Tipping me over
And all the way down.

Hours hang like years:
The shine of stars
Your heavy words
Awkward limbs, lovely and long
They come together
An unexpected promise
Between our shared breaths
Our shared space
Our little pocket of warmth
Tucked against each other.

I am your quicksilver
To temper and mold
Nooks and rivers
Valleys and dips
Of pure scarlet desire
Yours to discover
In your sweet, sweet time.
